Specialized national training for the Administrative Control Authority in Egypt “Preventing Corruption: Modern Approaches and Sectoral Applications”.
With the adoption of Egypt’s first National Anti-Corruption Strategy in December 2014, and the high degree of attention afforded by the President of the Republic to anti-corruption, the Administrative Control Authority is expected to enhance its capacities to take forward this new national vision, in line with the Egypt Vision 2030. An effective preventive approach is likely to add important value to that end.
This training is part of a broader programme of cooperation between UNDP and Egypt aiming at developing the capacities of the Authority to prevent and combat corruption.
Hosted at the offices of the ACIAC regional project in Beirut, the training shall bring together top international experts with senior officials from the Authority to help them in acquiring new skills that would enable them to utilize innovative tools for action, including risk management and collective action, and to prevent corruption in key vulnerable sectors, starting with customs, health and education.
